What is God saying to you? Are you eager to hear? I am. I so want to hear and feel His heart. I want to know what He says and walk with Him, to be His hands and heart for a dying world.

Do you care for a dying world? I know sometimes I don’t – the world just adds more voices to my already full and sometimes complicated life. Cares, cares and more cares seem eager to swallow me up….and then I only survive…and sadly lose track of my loving Father’s heart.

I just realised again – this week – that God cares. Obviously He cares for me, I know that and yes, also for my needs, all of which are met in Jesus. But He also cares for the world…dying souls that don’t have hope or a future. So many people’s futures have been ripped away from them, stolen…leaving terrible open wounds and hopelessness.

God is calling out. His Spirit is calling out for the lost, for people who don’t want to go on. I can quote statistics of suicide or depression…but I know, and you know, how many times we have been at that edge ourselves. Many of us have even started slipping off the edge.

I believe…I believe! is what I am shouting…that God does not just want to come and meet our needs. He will do that, anyway, but He is asking: Are you willing to trust Him for more than that? Are you willing to sacrifice your time, sleep, energy, finances, or anything He might ask, to cry out with Him for the lost?

Because then you will be satisfied, your strength will return and you will walk away from the edge and help others walk away from it too!

And the LORD shall always guide you and satisfy your soul in dry places, and make your bones fat; and you shall be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water whose waters fail not. And those who come of you shall build the old ruins; you shall raise up the foundations of many generations; and you shall be called the repairer of the breach, the restorer of paths to dwell in (Is 58:11).

Be a restorer, be empowered and strengthened in the power of a faithful God’s might!
